Spicy Potato Wedges

The ever-versatile potato is super-tasty when dipped in spices and cooked in the oven.  Serve with a dip or try with yummy cauliflower cheese.



1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp chilli powder

25g unsalted butter


Cut your potatoes into wedges and boil in water for five minutes until slightly cooked.

Melt the butter in a bowl and mix in the cumin, paprika and curry powder.  I used a mild curry powder but feel free to go as hot as you can stand!

Dip each wedge into the spice mix, coating thoroughly, then pop them on a baking tray.


Spicy potato wedges


Put them in the oven for about 20-25 minutes at 200°C –  I can smell them cooking now!  Then serve these spicy potato wedges with your favourite dip, or do what I do and have them with cauliflower cheese.

These will definitely warm you up!
